  • 1 cupleft over moong daal
  • 3boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cupbread crumbs
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Pinchturmeric
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tspChat masala
  • as neededOil for shallow fry
  • as neededBread crumbs

20 minutes
  1. 1

    My daal will be of this consistency

    Mix all the nine items upto chat masala

    Shape into required shape

    Press on bread crumbs and see the entire cutlet is nicely coated

    Shallow fry till it is golden brown. Many cutlets can be baked at a time as shown on pic

    Sprinkle chat masala over and serve with sauce to eat as it is or as an accomplishment to rice
