Steps

Dry roast the oats for 2 minutes. roast till they turn crisp. Allow to cool. Grind to coarse powder

Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. add mustard seeds, urad dal, jeera, chanadal. saute till they splutter.

Fry the grated carrot and chillies for a minute or two.

Add rava and roast until fragrant. Allow mixture to cool completely

Add oats, water, curd, salt, curry and coriander leaves. Mix well. Allow batter to rest for 10-15 minutes

Grease idli mould and place cashews in each mould

Add baking soda to batter and mix well. Pour batter into idli moulds and steam for 10 minutes

Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Demould and serve with chutney or sambar
