Combine milk and vanilla essence in a saucepan over medium heat,stir constantly for 5min. Until mixture is hot not boiling remove saucepan from heat

Whisk cornflour and sugar in a bowl until combined, pore hot milk and whisk constantly till sugar dissolves in it

Pore this mixture in the milk on low heat,cook, stirring for 10min until custard thickened remove from the heat

Cool it and refrigerate it

Take a wide bowl cut gulab jamun into 2 spread in the bowl, pour custard on it, sprinkle colourful bolls for garnish
- 6
Serve cool
