Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2maraschino cherries (I used red)
  2. Marzipan
  3. 50 grdark chocolate, chopped to small pieces
  4. 1 tsprum (I used essence)

  1. 1

    Immerse the cherries on rum for about 10 minutes. Swirl the bowl around so the rum will coat the cherries.

  2. 2

    Take enough marzipan and form a ball. Flatten it and put a cherry inside. Add more marzipan if necessary.

  3. 3

    Melt chocolate in a doule boiler. Dip marzipan-coated cherries inside. Cool in a baking paper, and then put in a fridge for an hour or so.

It's our family tradition. :) Feb 14, we girls make the boys chocolate. March 14, they cook us something nice. Now and then the whole family cooks together, usually during the holidays.
