Immerse the cherries on rum for about 10 minutes. Swirl the bowl around so the rum will coat the cherries.

Take enough marzipan and form a ball. Flatten it and put a cherry inside. Add more marzipan if necessary.

Melt chocolate in a doule boiler. Dip marzipan-coated cherries inside. Cool in a baking paper, and then put in a fridge for an hour or so.
