simple and easy to make curry with posto bari and potato wedges. posto bori is a bengali sun dried small dumplings easily available in the market. it is cooked in a very light gravy with posto/poppy seeds paste.

Steps

Heat 2tbsp mustard oil in a pan. add posto bori and fry till it turns light golden. keep aside

In the same pan heat 2tbsp mustard oil. add zeera and let it sizzle. then add chopped onion and saute. then add ginger garlic paste. cook for 2 mins.

Then add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and poppy seeds paste. add some water and stir till the raw smell of the masala is gone.

Then add the potato wedges and 1 cup water. cover the lid and cook till the potato is done. then add the fried posto bori. mix well till all the bori is coated well with the masala.

Serve hot with rice
