Ingredients

  • For top coat:-
  • 150 gmmaida
  • 1 tsp salt
  • as neededOil
  • 1 pinchorange colour
  • 1 pinchgreen colour
  • For the filling:-
  • 3eggs
  • 2medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 7-8garlic chopped
  • 2-3green chillis chopped
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice/ vinegar
  • 3 tbspChopped coriander leaves
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    To prepare the top coat firstly separate the maida into 3 halves knead 1 half of maida with green colour, water, salt and oil 2nd half with orange colour, salt, oil and 3rd part just with water, salt and water into a smooth dough and cover it with a lid..

  2. 2

    To prepare the filling heat oil in a pan..add all the ingredients one by one except the eggs and saute till the onion is tender..now beat the eggs and add in to the mixture and stir continuously till the eggs are scrambled..take it out in a plate..

  3. 3

    Now make small portions from each coloured dough add them together into designs of ur choice and make puris with rolling pin..

  4. 4

    Meanwhile u r preparing the momos..heat the steamer..when ur momos r ready put them into the steamer and steam till they r soft and cooked.

  5. 5

    Now your momos are ready to be served hot..
