Steps

Clean and cut the ash gourd. Make it flower shape by cookie cutter. It must be thin slices.

Soaked in limestone water for 5 - 6 hours. After that wash the ash gourd thoroughly.

Add washed ash gourd with sugar and mix it. Keep for 20- 25 minutes. Sugar will melted.

Divide the ash gourd in two portion. Cook it separately with colour till sugar syrup totally absorbed. In this stage add essence. Keep aside for cool.

Mix powder sugar and cardamom powder with Khoya and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Place green colour petha for bottom layer, Khoya for 2nd layer. Make little hole in middle of the orange flower.

Put Orange flower on the top and one raisin. Khoya with petha is ready to serve.
