8 quarts

24 cupsTomatoes cored and put in blender with the skins on
6 cupschopped onions
1bulb garlic, put entire clove in blender with tomatoes
6 tablespoonsoregano
6 tablespoonsbasil
4 tablespoonssalt
6bay leaves
2 tablespoonspepper
1 cupplus 2 tablespoons olive oil
2/3 cupsugar
3 (12 Oz)cans of tomato paste

Mix all ingredients except tomato paste and simmer for 1 hour

Add tomato paste and stir

Process in jars in hot water bath for 1 hour. Approximately 8 quarts.
