Ingredients

  1. 4-5 pieceKarela (bitter gourd)
  2. 1 cupCurd
  3. 2 cupChopped onion
  4. 1Tomato
  5. to tasteChilli powder
  6. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tspcoriander powder
  8. To tasteSugar/Jaggery
  9. 2-3Curry leaves
  10. as neededOil
  11. 1 tspPanchphutan/mustard seeds
  12. as neededChopped garlic

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the karela in small size, sprinkle some haldi powder and salt to it, cover it and keep aside.

  2. 2

    In a pan take some oil,add panchputan /mustard seeds 1tsp, curry leaves and chopped onion,garlic fry all in a low flame.then add karela drain all the water.fry all with coving lid.

  3. 3

    Add haldi, chilli powder,dhania powder,some curd, tomatoes then cook all the ingredients when the karela cooked comp lete ly add Jaggery/sugar,dry all the gravies... don't put any water.
