1 1/2 lbgreen beans, cleaned and trimmed
2 clovesgarlic, peeled and thinly sliced
2 tbspextra-virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper
2 tbspParmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Place the green beans in a shallow, rimmed baking dish. Add the garlic, olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of pepper. Toss together.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until the green beans are lightly caramelized but still slightly crisp.

Remove from the oven , sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and serve. 121 calories/serving; GL=1, Glycals=1
