Ingredients

  • For outer layer
  • 200 gKaju Powder
  • 150 gSugar
  • 50 gKhoya(If not available add 50g Kaju Powder)
  • PinchElaichi Powder
  • PinchGreen Food Colour
  • For Stuffing
  • 1/4 CupGulkand
  • 1/2 CupChopped Kaju Badam and Pista
  • 2 tbspAny grated cooking chocolate
  • 1 tbspFinely Chopped Kalkati Pan
  • 2 dropsrose essence
  • 1/2 tspCrushed Saunf

Steps

  1. 1

    Take Gulkand,dry fruits,finely chopped Kalkati Pan,Saunf,cooking chocolate,rose essence and mix this for 2 minutes.Now your stuffing is ready.

    Now add little water to the sugar to make a sugar syrup till it thickens.Make a 2 1/2 Strings Sugar Syrup.Now add the Green Food colour to the sugar syrup.

    Now add to it Khoya and stir it on the stove till the Khoya melts.

  4. 4

    Put off the stove and add Kaju Powder and Elaichi Powder and mix it.

  5. 5

    Let it cool down.

  6. 6

    Now take a thick plastic paper and knead the layer dough.

  7. 7

    Make balls of it and roll into Puris.

  8. 8

    Cut those Puris into 4 parts.

  9. 9

    Give a pan shape with your hands and stuff it with our prepared stuffing.

  10. 10

    Let it dry for 5-10 minutes

  11. 11

    Now apply to each Silver Varakh
