Ingredients

4 - 6 servings
  1. 1 bunchmchicha (terere)
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. 1Large onion
  4. 1 Cuplight coconut cream (Tui jepesi)
  5. 1 Cupheavy coconut cream (tui nzito)

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash your mchicha. You can opt to chop it on cook it just as it is.

  2. 2

    Put it in a sufuria and sliced onions on top with some salt, put it over heat to dry up any excess water left whilst washing.

  3. 3

    Add the light coconut cream and bring to boil.

  4. 4

    Once the light cream is almost dry add the thick cream and simmer it thickens. Ensure that the onions and salt have mixed well with the vegetable and coconut.

  5. 5

    Serve as desired!
