Steps

Heat oil and temper Cumin seeds and bay leaf

Add ginger and green chillies and saute for a while

Add Potatoes and fry adding salt and turmeric powder

Add tomato puree and mix well

As the masalas start releasing oil add water and simmer

Add sugar and mix well

Serve it with rice or luchi/puree
