Wash the rice till the water becomes clear and soak in water for atleast half hour.

In a kadai, add butter. Once it melts, add in the cumin and onions.

Cook till onions become brown, then add in the ginger garlic paste and tomato. Cook till tomato becomes mushy.

Add in the carrots, potato and cauliflower. Also add the remaining spices and give it a good mix.

Cook for a minute and add 3 glass of water.

Once the water boils, add in the rice and let it cook uncovered on medium flame. Hard vegetables like carrot would also become soft while cooking with the rice.

When little water is remaining, add in the capsicum and sweet corn. Since these are soft, we didn't add them in the beginning, so that they don't loose their texture.

Simmer the gas and cover the kadai and cook till rice is completely done.

Garnish with coriander or green chilli and serve with curd.

Moderate the spices as per taste.
