Steps

Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped dry fruits & roast well.

Add poppy seeds, khoya & grated coconut & mix well. Mash khoya and cook for 5 minutes.

Stuffing is ready.

Next make rice flour dough by heating water with salt and ghee.

In this boiling water add rice flour & mix well. Break lumps. & let it rest for 10 minutes.

Make a dough & divide into small balls & flaten the ball making a dent. Fill with the stuffing.

Make all modaks like this & place them into the steamer.

Steam cook modaks for 10 minutes. & they are ready. 😊
