Ingredients

4 servings
  • 500 grground beef
  • 3-4 tbspkatakuriko (you can substitute it with corn starch or sago flour)
  • 1 tbsponion paste (or grated onion)
  • 1 tbspgarlic paste (or grated garlic)
  • Crushed black pepper to your preference
  • 1egg
  • 1/2 tspcelery salt
  • 1/4 cupfrozen peas
  • 2 cupsbeef broth

Steps

    Boil beef broth in pot.

  2. 2

    Mix everything except beef broth and frozen peas. Knead with your hand until the mixture is pliable.

  3. 3

    After the broth boils, form balls and put inside the pot. After the meatballs are cooked (they'll float a bit), add frozen peas.

  4. 4

    Stir now and then and give it a taste. I usually do not add salt at this stage, but if it feels too plain, add more salt (or celery salt) and crushed black pepper.
