Steps

Wash & rinse the chicken thoroughly.

Take a karahi,pour 2 tbsp of mustard oil in it,when the smell comes, & it is totally heatup,switch off the flame.

Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, Cloves in it & switch the flame on,When they crackleup, add chopped onions & ginger garlic paste

When they turn brown,add red chilli powder, turmeric powder & chicken masala in it,Saute for few seconds.

Now add grinded tomatoes & cook till the oil spreads from the corner

Add washed chicken pieces in it & mix well,cook till chicken becomes soft, if need only then add 1/2 cup of water in it, otherwise chicken itself had enough water to cook.

Pour in a serving bowl & garnish with kasoori methi,garam masala & coriander leaves

Serve hot with chapati or naan.
