Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsExe Flour
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 1 tablespooninstant yeast
  4. 1/2 teaspoonKCC ghee
  5. 1/2 teaspoonground cardamon
  6. 1 1/4 cupwarm milk
  7. 1 tablespoonplain yoghurt
  8. Oil for deep frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all the ingredients together in a bowl except the milk.

  2. 2

    Mix the ingredients with a mixer then slowly add the warm milk.

  3. 3

    Mix the dough till you get the consistency of a pizza dough.

  4. 4

    Cut the dough into seven pieces, then make them into small balls. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise.

  5. 5

    Once risen to double its size, take each ball and roll into a circle then cut into quarter each ball.

  6. 6

    Deep fry two at a time and turn as soon as each side is brown.

  7. 7

    Place the fried mahamris on absorbent paper then serve with hot chai or with mbaazi
