Knead Maida along with some salt and one tsp oil.Add enough water to make a tight dough.Keep aside.

Take soaked chana Dal and cook till tender in cooker with little water.

Now once Dal is cooked add jaggery to it and mix.Put on heat again & keep stirring till this mixture thickens.

Add nutmeg powder and cardamom powder to the Chana Dal, jaggery mixture.This mixture is called puran.

Take off from the heat and cool.

Now make small balls from the Maida dough that was kneaded earlier.

Make cavity like with hands from the dough balls and stuff the puran approximately 2tsp in it.

Now take board & rolling pin.Dust flour on it and roll to a little thick like roti.

Heat a griddle and roast the puran Poli on it.In the end add ghee and flip over again.Take from once done.

Repeat same with remaining dough and puran.
