De-skin millet and wash throughly. Spread the grain in the sun to dry.

When dried, add some ginger and cloves and take if for grinding. Spread the ground millet in the sun as well before preserving it In your air - tight container.

To make the the kunu, soak the tamarind for about an hour in warm water. Have boiling water on the cooker.

Make a paste with the ground paste and tamarind water
- 5
Pour the paste into the water and cook about 2 to 3 minutes. Your kunu (gruel) is ready.
