Mix maida, ajwain seeds, salt and butter in a bowl.

Add water as needed and make a hard dough. Keep this aside

Heat oil in a pan

Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Take 1 part and roll it like a roti

Cut it any shape you wish

Deep fry shankarpare on medium heat until it turns golden brown

Take out the shankarpare and drain the excess oil on the kitchen paper

Shankarpare is ready.
