Made these the same time as I was making the hanami dango, but this one used different recipe. Usually mitarashi dango is just plain white balls but I wanted to make it different, I like kawaii things so I made these pandas inspired by a Youtube video I saw earlier. I didn't make the sauce because I didn't have the ingredients. I hope you can give this recipd a try.

Ingredients

15 minutes
  1. 10 tablespoonsglutinous rice flour
  2. 2 tablespoonssugar
  3. Water just enough to make the dough come together
  4. Food colouring of your choice

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix together the flour and the sugar. Then add the water little by little while mixing it by hand. Just enough until the dough comes together.

  2. 2

    Divide the dough. Leave one part white and colour the other depends on your choice.

  3. 3

    Shape them into pandas or anything of your choice.

  4. 4

    Boil some water. Then put the dango in. Wait until they come to the surface. Then take them out and put in ice water.

  5. 5

    Take your skewers, put them one by one. Three pandas in one skewers is good.

  6. 6

    Enjoy!
