Ingredients

  1. 1 packetmixed maize with yellow beans (boiled already)
  2. 2red onions (chopped)
  3. 2tomatoes (chopped)
  4. 1 pieceeach of ginger and garlic (crushed)
  5. 2chopped courgette
  6. 2cubed chopped carrots
  7. 6potatoes peeled
  8. 1 pinchsalt to taste
  9. 1 pinchchilli powder(optional)
  10. Cooking oil
  11. 1/2 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Place your sufuria on heat and add oil in it and place your onions, cook until soft then add your crushed garlic and ginger let it cook for 3 mins then add your tomatoes until they are well cooked,add your salt and chilli powder.

  2. 2

    Then add your potatoes and water, let it cook until they are well cooked then add your mixed maize and yellow beans let it cook, lower your heat and finally add your last ingredients carrots and courgette (added them last so that they can't overcook).

    Finally serve and enjoy your githeri.
