Boil water and put the washed rice and add salt and cover with a lid

When the water decreases add oil to the rice so that it won't be dry and let it cook for 2minutes and take it off the jiko.You can as well put hot charcoal on top of the lid if you find your rice to be watery

Cover the stew with a lid and let it cook till the potatoes can be mashed taste if the salt is enough and its ready to serve
