Cut your beef into preferred sizes and boil them in low heat. After boiling, add the crushed garlic and ginger and continue stirring until they mix evenly. Add half of the cut onion and cooking oil to fry the beef until it turns golden brown. Finally add half of the diced tomatoes and the tomato paste as you continue stirring.

After that, add 2kg of water into the beef. Add the salt and the pilau masala and stir the cover for it to boil.

Wash and drain the rice and then add it to the boiling water.. Stir and cover for it to cook.

Simmer and let it rest cover.

For the pilipili, mix the onion, tomatoes, carrots, green pepper, ginger and garlic in a blender and blend them.

In a seperate sufuria, put in low heat add oil and fry the blended mixture then add the lemon juice as you continue stirring. NOTE: if you don't have a blender you can pound the boiled carrots and then fry the other ingredients used as you add the lemon juice to get the sour taste.
