Ingredients

1/2 an hour
  • For the kadhi
  • 1/2 cupbesan(gram flour)
  • 2 cupssour curd
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspcorrainder powder
  • 1/2 tspjeera / cumin powder
  • 2 tbsoil
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste
  • to tasteSalt
  • For the pakoda
  • 300 gmmasoor dal
  • 150 gmchana dal
  • 1/2 tspjeera/cumin powder
  • 1/2red chilli powder
  • 1/2turmeric powder
  • 1/3black pepper
  • 1egg(optional)
  • For the tadka
  • 1/2 tspmustard seed
  • 3whole dried red chillies
  • 1 Handfulcurry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl add add all kadhi ingredients mix it well pour little water keep stirring it add 1 litre water mix it well make a smooth watery paste

  2. 2

    In big kadai heat the oil add kadhi mixture.Bring it boil for 20 mins keep stirring or else mixture will stick to the kadai

  3. 3

    Deep fry dal pakoda mixture in round shape

  4. 4

    Add it to kadhi mixture stir for a while. Than add tadka to it.
