Tofu nuggets

Crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. I have seen different recipes, but not following them, I decided to do it my way, it's very easy and simple. I like dipping them in Nandos hot peri peri sauce.

Crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. I have seen different recipes, but not following them, I decided to do it my way, it's very easy and simple. I like dipping them in Nandos hot peri peri sauce.
Steps

In a mixing bowl, combine well yogurt, chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and roasted gram/besan flour.

Add the tofu to it, ensuring that the mixture coats the tofu well. Cover the bowl with cling film and put it in the fridge. Let it marinate overnight.

Next day, remove the bowl from the fridge.

In a dish, pour the bread crumbs, add black pepper, salt and chilli powder as per your taste. Sprinkle some mixed herbs and mix well.

In a frying pan, heat oil on medium heat.

Coat each tofu piece in bread crumb mixture and fry till golden brown.

Serve hot with your favourite dip.
