Beef and red wine casserole

Cut the beef into bite size chunks.season with the flour,salt and pepper and toss the meat in flour to coat.

Pour in the red wine and scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to deglaze, add the stock or water and bring to boil,then lower the heat and simmer for a few minutes.

Return the beef to the casserole and stir to immerse the meat inthe liquid completely.Put the lid on the casserole and cook till tender and check your potatoes not to overcook.

Check the seasoning,then scatter the coriander over the stew.

Serve with chapati,ric3,ugali or mukimo
