Mix maida, soda, onions, red chilli powder (or chopped green chillies), sour curd, salt into medium consistency batter.

Add the curd carefully, do not add at once. Heat a deep kadai of oil. With the help of spoon or by hand, drop small portions of batter into the oil and deep fry them. Ready to serve!
