First of all wash,peel, grate and boil the beetroot then blend in a mixture blender..sieve wheat flour..add salt, cumin seeds, clarified butter/desi ghee and make a tight dough by adding boiled beetroot puree little by little

Make lemon sized balls out of beetroot dough and flatten on a rolling board to give the shape of pooris

Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and fry the beetroot pooris by flipping(turning over) from both sides at medium heat one by one

Put out of oil and spread on an absorbant paper towel to soak up excess oil
- 5
Fry all the pooris with same (flipping) process

Yo'r beetroot pooris r ready

Transfer in a clean serving plate on a paper napkin

Serve"hot" with chana gravy or cheese gravy with kachoomar salad or vegetable cream salad
