Ingredients

10 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1 cuptur dal boiled
  2. 1tomato chopped
  3. 1 tspcumin seeds
  4. 1 pinchAsafoetida
  5. 1 tspginger paste
  6. 1 tbspghee
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. To tastesalt and sugar
  9. As neededoil

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash soak and boil the daal

  2. 2

    Heat oil and temper cumin seeds and red chilli

  3. 3

    Add asafoetida and ginger and saute well

  4. 4

    Add tomatoes and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  5. 5

    Pour the daal and mix sugar

  6. 6

    Boil and add ghee and serve
