Ingredients

12 pcs
  1. 1/2 cupblack gram skinned (dhuli urad dal)
  2. 1 inchginger (adrak)
  3. 1green chilli (hari mirch)
  4. 1/2 tsp or as per tastesalt (namak)
  5. 1/4 cupwater
  6. 1 cupfresh beaten curd (dahi)
  7. Pinchdeghi mirch
  8. Pinchblack salt (kala namak)
  9. Pinchroasted cumin (jeera) powder
  10. 1 tbspoil
  11. For garnishingwithcoriander (dhaniya) leaves

Steps

    In a Grinding Jar add Soaked Urad Dal,Add Ginger & Green Chilli..Grind It

  2. 2

    Add little water & grind it again,Make a smooth paste

  3. 3

    Take it out in bowl,Add Salt & mix it well,Add little water & mix it well

  4. 4

    Now heat Appe Pan in low flame,Grease the mould with oil

  5. 5

    Pour 1 tsp of batter in each mould,Cook it for 1 minute

  6. 6

    Sprinkle little oil above all the batter in mould,Cover it with lid & cook it for 2 minutes

  7. 7

    Remove the lid,Now change the sides,Let it cook for 2 minutes,Take it out in plate

  8. 8

    Soak Vadas in Lukewarm water for 3 to 4 minutes

  9. 9

    Remove excess water by pressing vadas lightly & keep it in serving plate

  10. 10

    Now add Curd over it,Sprinkle Black Salt, Deggi Mirch & Roasted Cumin Powder

  11. 11

    Now add Green Chutney over it,Add Sweet Tamarind Chutney over it

  12. 12

    Garnish it with Coriander Leaves,CHATPATEY DAHI BHALLE is READY,Serve & Taste
