Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupscauliflower florets
  • 1 cuppotato cubes
  • 3 tspchopped green chillies
  • 1/4 cupchopped onions
  • 2chopped small tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tspginger (adrak) paste
  • 1 1/2 tspgarlic (lehsun) paste
  • 1 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1 tspcoriander (dhania) seeds powder
  • 1 pinchturmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 pinchchilli powder
  • 1cinnemon
  • 1chakri flower
  • oil for cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add the turmeric powder and cumin seeds.
    When the seeds crackle, add the onions and saute till they turn translucent.
    Add the ginger and garlic paste and saute till they are cooked.
    Add the tomatoes and salt, mix well and saute till the tomatoes become very soft.

    Add the potatoes and then the cauliflower and mix well.
    Once they are lightly fried, add the red chilli powder and the coriander powder and saute for about 2 minutes.
    Add little water till the cauliflower is soaked in water and cover the pan and cook till water has evaporated.
    Serve hot.
