Ingredients

  • 1 bowlgram flour
  • 1 bowlsemolena
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1/2turmeric powder
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 2 tsprefined oil
  • 1 packeteno
  • As neededwater
  • For dhokla water
  • As neededoil
  • 2 tspmustred seeds
  • 2green chilli chooped
  • As neededwater
  • To tastesugar
  • To tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl add all ingredients and mix it and make the better.

  2. 2

    A simple trick to a fluffy dhokla-beat the batter well.the more you beat the batter more air is incorporated in the batter,resulting in soft-spongy dhokla.

  3. 3

    Just remamber to beat the batter befor adding eno. After adding eno dont let the batter sit for a long whil. Steam it for 4,5 mints in microwaves.

    When a little cool cut into squres and keep in a serving bowl.

    Now take a deep pan heat the oil.

  6. 6

    Now add mustred seeds,green chilli and soute it.

  7. 7

    Now add the sugar,water,salt,and mix it and boil it for 2-3 mints.

  8. 8

    When water is little cool than add the dhokla pieces in it for 30 minutes.
