Ingredients

  1. 300 gmsbroccoli cut into florets
  2. 150 gmsPotatoes, deskined and cut length wise
  3. 1 tbspgreen peas
  4. 1 tbspcooking oil
  5. 1 pinchhing/asafoetida
  6. 1 pinchturmeric powder
  7. 1/3 tsppanch phoron(five spices)
  8. 3 mediumTomatoes puree
  9. 1 mediumonion finely chopped
  10. 1/2 tspchopped green chilli
  11. 11/2 tsp grated ginger-garlic
  12. 1/3 tspCumin and coriander powder each
  13. 1/2 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
  14. 1/2 tspcrushed kasoori methi
  15. 1 tspfresh curd
  16. 1 tspgrated mawa (khoya)
  17. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Put broccoli potatoes and green peas in a microwave safe bowl. Add turmeric, a pinch salt and 2-3drops of cooking oil. Mix properly and cook in microwave for 3 mins.

    In a cooking pan heat oil. Add hing, panch phoron. Crackle and cook green chillies and onion till translucent. Then fry ginger-garlic for 1 min.

  3. 3

    Now add tomato puree, rest dry masala, dahi and mawa. Cook in med flame till the oil separate.

  4. 4

    Add half boiled veggies, 1 cup of water, adjust the salt, cover and cook till it's done.

    Serve hot this yummy subzi with roti, poori or rice.
