  1. Peanut butter/Groundnut paste
  2. Powdered tamba
  3. Lemon/lime juice/tamarind
  4. Sugar for taste
  5. Milk(optional)

    In a bowl add ur peanut butter and enough warm water for easy mixing, mix and strain into a clean bowl,transfer d mixture into a put and cook on a low flame

    In the mean time,mix d powdered tamba and lemon or lime juice or soak ur tamarind for atleast 30mins and strain the water.mix thoroughly to avoid lumps

    By now ur peanut have start to boil,pour d hot peanut into the tamba and lime mixture,stir instantly to avoid cooked lumps

  4. 4

    Allow to cool for a bit and add sugar and milk.serve warm

  5. 5

    Tamba is a grain normally found in northern part of nigeria especially in kaduna state. Here are d tamba seeds

    U can make d powdered tamba by washing it and removing the stones(they usually come with alot of tiny stones),drain d water and sun dry d seeds.Add dried ginger,black pepper,cloves and some chili peppers,ground until it becomes powdered and sieve to remove excess chaff.(u can re-grind d chaff too).
