Steps

Warm the milk in a pan till boiling.

In medium flame stir continuously for 5 to 7 minutes.

Add 1 tspn ghee in gobindobhog rice and mix it well.Do not wash the rice with water.

Add rice and bay leaves to milk.

Again stir in frequently.

When rice become totally boiled then add pinch of salt and stir it.

Then add date palm jaggery and mix it completely.

Add green cardamom seeds, cashew nuts, raisins and stir it well.

Cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.

Perfect Bengali Payes is ready. Wait for cool.We can decorate with extra cashew nuts and raisins.
