First we make stuffing....heat a pan add oil...heat....

Now add cumin seeds and green chilli...saute well

Add sliced onion...saute well...add ginger and garlic paste...mix it and saute...

Now add all dry spices and mix it well...

Now add mashed potato and salt and coriander leaves mix it and cook it....

Stuffing is ready....remove into a bowl and allow to cool completely....

Now in a big bowl take rice flour and add warm water as required and knead it into a soft dough...

Now divide the dough into orange size ball...and stuffed with stuffing and close it well...

Now in a heavy bottom patila add 2 lit water and allow to boil

Now add all pittha in boiling water....boil it..

When all pitthas floating on the water..that means pitthas cooked well...remove all pittha from water.....

Serve it hot with green chutney...
