Heat ghee in a wok, add besan and semollina in it until it changes it's colour or until it starts leaving waking smell.

Meanwhile, add sugar, green cardamom powder and 1/4 cup of water in another wok and make sugar syrup of one string consistency.

Then pour this sugar syrup in besan-semollina mixture gradually and cook it well.

Now grease a dish and pour prepared mixture in it and allow it to set on room temperature for 2-3 hours. If you want you can top it with some nuts too.

Then cut pieces of it as per your shape choice.

Your besan burfi is ready to serve now.
