  1. 2Grated boiled potato -
  2. 1 cupKheel -
  3. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder -
  4. 1/2 tspGrated ginger -
  5. 2Chopped green chilli -
  6. 2 tbspPoppy seeds -
  7. to tasteSalt -
  8. Oil - for shallow frying

45 mins
  1. 1

    Dip the kheel in one cup of water for five mins and drain extra water.

    Take a large bowl add all above listed ingredients except poppy seeds and also add kheel and mix well.

    Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness.

  4. 4

    Coat with poppy seeds

  5. 5

    Shallow fry in hot oil until golden in colour.

  6. 6

    Flipping once in between.

  7. 7

    Always cook in medium flame.

  8. 8

    Drain in paper napkin

  9. 9

    Serve hot.
