Chocolate Cupcakes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Line a tray with paper cups.

Sift together the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, cocoa and salt.Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla.

Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk; beat well. Fill the paper cups 3/4's full.

Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack

Chocolate butter cream frosting :- With a hand mixer beat the butter on medium speed until creamy - about 2 minutes

Add icing sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, salt, and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to high speed and beat for 2 full minutes

Add up to 1/2 cup more sugar if frosting is too thin or another Tablespoon of cream if frosting is too thick.
