Since my mom is on a very low sodium diet. I created this recipe so she can enjoy corn beef and cabbage. It will have a different taste - thats' only because of the no salt. You can add salt if you'd like.

Since my mom is on a very low sodium diet. I created this recipe so she can enjoy corn beef and cabbage. It will have a different taste - thats' only because of the no salt. You can add salt if you'd like.

Rinse the corn beef and submerge in water with cut up cucumber over night.

Take out cornbeef and rinse again with water.

Place in crockpot with onion, carrots, potatoes, garlic, dill, and mustard and Guinness beer, and no salt chicken broth.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Add the cabbage the last 20 minutes.
