Ingredients

  • 455 gself raising flour
  • 1egg
  • 170 gbutter
  • 170 gsugar
  • 250 gsultanas
  • Milk

Steps

  1. 1

    Pre-heat oven to 190°C (170°C for fan ovens)

  2. 2

    Rub the butter into the flour

    Add the sugar, sultanas and egg (beaten)

  4. 4

    Add a small amount of milk to bind and form into a ball of dough

    Roll out to about 3cm thick and cut into shape

  6. 6

    Place in the oven for 20 minutes

  7. 7

    Place on a cooling rack, let them cool down then enjoy :-)

If you used gluten free flour would u add xanthan gum or baking powder!???
