  1. 2 cansrotel
  2. 2 canscream of chicken
  3. 1 bagDoritos (your favorite flavor)
  4. 2 cupsshredded Mexican blend cheese

  1. 1

    Put the chicken breasts in a pot of water and cook for 45 min on stove top. When done take chicken skin off and throw away. Shred the chicken.

  2. 2

    Place shredded chicken in the bottom of a casserole dish. Cook on stovetop rotel and cream of chicken until cooked together. Place rotel mixture on top of chicken in casserole dish.

  3. 3

    Crush the bag of Doritos and place on top of rotel mixture in casserole dish. Cover Doritos with the shredded cheese. Place in oven at 400 degrees for 5 to 10 min. Or until cheese is melted.

I am from Natchitoches, Louisiana. So yes I do cook southern Louisiana food very well. My family is from Mamou, Louisiana so I think I’ve got the southern touch running through my blood. I do all the cooking in my house and I try my best to post the recipes that I believe are worth your while. I cook with more of a semi-homemade and easy and possible feel to it.
