Wash rice and drain water.

Bring the water with salt, turmeric and margarine to boil together.

Once it's boiled, add in rice and cover to cook

Let all the water dry out

Once it's ready, use a folk to stir just to ensure all the water is dried out and to help separate the rice, then remove from heat and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with your favourite stew, I did with pojo or ndengu or green grams.
