Heat wok or large frying pan on medium high heat (3-5 minutes) until a drop of water sizzles.

Add the 1 tablespoon of butter, swirl to coat pan, add garlic and onions, stir fry for 30 seconds. Mix 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper.

Add chicken and spread the pieces out, allow the meat to sear for 30 seconds and then stir fry until no longer pink on the outside (2-3 minutes).

Add carrots and green beans and stir fry for a minute.

Add soy sauce and water to the stir-fry (1-2 minutes), bubbly, and everything is heated through.

Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately.
