Steps

Simmer bacon until rendered.

Add onion and saute until caramelized.

Add water, sauerkraut, salt, caraway and potatoes.

Sprinkle with sweet paprika and boil until you can stick a fork in the potatoes and it releases easily.

Thicken with flour diluted in 1/4 cup cold water.

Add sour cream and mix.

Serve immediately.
