Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash all your ingredients (except water of course hahaha) in warm water.
- 2
Slice your lemons in half and juice them using a Juice extractor. Squeeze well to remove the juice. Now do not discard the flesh; we still have use for it.
- 3
Peel your ginger and garlic and cut into smaller sizes.
- 4
Gently pour the extracted lemon juice into a Blender. Add your ginger and garlic and blend until you have a smooth consistency
- 5
Heat up your mineral water in a pot. When it comes to a boil, add the lemon. Now you also add the lime after cutting in the middle. Add your mixture from the blender into the pot as well. Let everything simmer for 5mins.
- 6
Bring down the pot from your stove. Dish out the lemons and limes and discard. Let your drink cool down.
- 7
When cool, pour into several tight sealed glass containers and keep in a cool dry place.
- 8
Drink a glass first thing every morning on an empty stomach. You would be surprised at how much belly fat and weight you would lose.

Candied Citrus and Ginger Candied Citrus and Ginger
I think candied citrus peels are somewhat of an acquired taste. Kind of like mustard, hated during childhood and appreciated in adulthood. This is actually the second version of this recipe. The first version had thinly sliced habaneros in it and it was successful. Anyway, these can be eaten as a snack or used in baking applications. Be sure to save the syrup to make hot tea or use as a glaze. Karl -

Strawberry Shots (Erdbeer Limes) Strawberry Shots (Erdbeer Limes)
This is a nice recipe for an alcoholic homemade summer party drink. It was very popular here in the '90ies and makes me remember my late teenage days. Today I no longer serve it as a shot but have it after dinner chilled on ice. This is also a good way to use up close to overripe or not so pretty strawberries and make them holeproof up to a week. Cheers!#berrybonanza Kristina K -

Rehydrating Sports Drink Rehydrating Sports Drink
I like to read health news articles to keep up on the latest developments. This article, "Electrolyte Water Is Easy To Make", (https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/electrolyte-water#recipe) contains a recipe for a homemade version of a sports drink that does not have sugar, artificial colors, or flavors. My version tweaks the recipe with a natural sweetener (maple syrup), freshly squeezed citrus (heavy on the lime), and coconut water: ingredients you can purchase in bulk at Costco to greatly reduce the cost. This makes a concentrate to which you add either water or seltzer. It's easy to play around with the amount of lime and lemon to your preference. Swap in orange or grapefruit. Increase or decrease the concentrate to taste. I use 4 oz to 8 oz myself, which is puckering territory. What could be healthier? Jim Kennedy
