Ingredients

40 minutes
4 servings
  • 3potatoes cubed
  • 1 cupcauliflower florets
  • 1capsicum cubed
  • 1 cupgreen peas
  • 2 cupspinach puree
  • 2green tomato finely chopped
  • 1 cupgreen onion leaves finely chopped
  • 2onion finely chopped
  • 2 spoonginger garlic paste
  • 1 cupwater
  • 2 spoonclarified butter
  • 4 spoonbutter
  • 2 spoonpavbhaji masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 spoonturmeric powder
  • 1/2 spoonred chilli powder
  • 3/4 cuplemon juice
  • 8pav
  • Onion and lemon slices for serving

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Put potato,peas,caouliflower,capsicum,s alt and turmeric powder in a cooker

  2. 2

    Add water and cook for 3-4 whistles

  3. 3

    Mash cooked veggies with a masher

  4. 4

    Heat clarified butter in a wok and saute onion and ginger garlic paste

  5. 5

    Add tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes

  6. 6

    Add green onion leaves and cook for 3-4 minutes

  7. 7

    Mash with a masher

  8. 8

    Add both spices and and cook for 2 minutes

  9. 9

    Add spinach and cook 3-4 minutes

  10. 10

    Add mashed veggies and cook until it thickens

  11. 11

    Mash properly

  12. 12

    Switch off the flame after adding lemon juice and butter

  13. 13

    Cut pav from middle and roast from both sides by applying butter

  14. 14

    Serve green bhaji with lemon and onion slices.
