Heat 1 tbsp oil into a pan. Add 1 tsp of cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add chopped onions and capsicum and fry it till light brown.

Add chopped tomatoes, green peas and potatoes and saute it well for 10 minutes. Add turmeric powder,salt as per taste and mix it well.

Take 150 gms of flattened rice in a bowl and rinse it well for two to three times with fresh water. Now add this into the pan and again add some salt as needed and mix well.Put off the flame and take it out onto a plate

Your poha is ready.Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and green chillies.You can also garnish with haldiram bhujia for better enjoyment as this is optional
