Ingredients

30 minutes
for 2-3 serving
  1. 150 gramsPoha (flattened rice)
  2. 2big Onion sliced chopped
  3. 1tomato finely chopped
  4. 1capsicum chopped
  5. 5-6Green chillies
  6. 2potatoes Sliced chopped
  7. Somecoriander leaves finely chopped
  8. 100 gramsgreen peas
  9. To tasteSalt
  10. 1 tbspOil
  11. 1 tspCumin seeds
  12. As neededHaldiram bhujia (optional for garnishing)
  13. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat 1 tbsp oil into a pan. Add 1 tsp of cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add chopped onions and capsicum and fry it till light brown.

    Add chopped tomatoes, green peas and potatoes and saute it well for 10 minutes. Add turmeric powder,salt as per taste and mix it well.

  3. 3

    Take 150 gms of flattened rice in a bowl and rinse it well for two to three times with fresh water. Now add this into the pan and again add some salt as needed and mix well.Put off the flame and take it out onto a plate

  4. 4

    Your poha is ready.Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and green chillies.You can also garnish with haldiram bhujia for better enjoyment as this is optional
